Is there a better dessert than chocolate fondue? Dipping all of your favorite sweets and treats into a smooth and creamy fondue is what I imagine heaven looks like.

Whenever I make this easy chocolate fondue recipe for friends or family there is almost no cleanup afterwards because the pot is wiped clean from the dippers. Chocolate should not be wasted.

What is the best chocolate for fondue? Well, this is debatable, but I love the creaminess of milk chocolate, so it gets my vote!

What I also love about fondue in general is that it really is a dining experience, you can gather around with loved ones and really enjoy each other’s company over a delicious pot of chocolate.

If you do not have a fondue pot but are still wanting to make this recipe you can do this on a stove top with a pot instead and it will work as well. However, if you are looking for a fondue pot I recommend this Cuisine Fondue Pot that I got off of Amazon. It is easy to setup and use and you get the whole fondue experience!

Chocolate Fondue Dippers

It might honestly be quicker for me to list all of the items that wouldn’t be good dipped in this milk chocolate fondue. Nevertheless, here are some of my favorite items to dip!

Fruits

Fruit and chocolate are truly two peas in a pod and this is no different when it comes to chocolate fondue. The classic fruit that likely comes to everyone’s mind are strawberries and bananas, these are always great choices with my family. With that being said, I wouldn’t stop there. Other fruits I would recommend are Oranges, Raspberries, Apples, and Blueberries.

Baked Goods & Treats

This is truly where the calories go out the door. I love baked goods, and if you cover them in chocolate, it simply makes them that much better.

Brownies/Blondies: As a chocolate person at heart, there really is nothing better than dipping a delicious chocolate brownie into a chocolate fondue.

Rice Krispy Treats: Growing up I used to get these in my lunches and they have since come out with chocolate dipped Rice Krispy Treats that you can buy in a package from the grocery store. However, these homemade Rice Krispy Treats dipped in homemade chocolate fondue in my opinion will always beat the packaged version.

Cakes: With cakes, you can select any that are your favorite, some I would recommend are, Pound Cake and Angel Food Cake.

Marshmallows: This is not considered a baked good per say, it is more of a treat, but it is an excellent choice when coming up with dippers for this chocolate fondue recipe.
